Things I want to remember from right now:
Mikayla gives the best kisses and hugs upon demand. If you want her to actually hug you instead of just snuggling her head into your shoulder, you have to ask for a "hug with arms".
Whenever Mikayla really enjoys someone or something, the only appropriate response is to hug and kiss them. If the someone or something is too big, not physically present, or intangible, she clasps her hands to her chest and turns side to side as though giving an invisible hug, while saying "Ooooooh". Most notably, she kisses her pizza.
Mikayla gets excited to wear her little brown imitation-Ugg boots. She calls them "boops" and goes around excitedly looking for them, saying "Boops! Boops! Boops!"
She loves her catechism questions and her cousin Khloe. She has invented a word that is a hybrid of "glory" and "Khloe" so we can never quite be sure whether she is becoming more passionate about her seedling faith, or wants to watch her cousin's Facebook video again.
Our current favorite words: "Gokey gokey" [okey dokey]; "boops" [boots; see above]; "chooch" [church]; "ahmat" [headband]; "woa dadda!"; "mink!" [pink];
Mikayla sings the ABC song. Well, sort of. She says "A-B's, A-B's, A-B's....ME!!"
She can do her alphabet puzzle in under two minutes, and regularly reads capital letters off of food boxes, shirts, books, etc.
Mikayla loves to find Waldo!
There's more, but this will suffice. Just a quick snapshot of our little girl. Praising God for her presence with us :).
